It all started with looks of admiration at one of the first automobiles arriving at the seaport of Svendborg, Denmark in 1919. The locals saw dazzling new technology, but the owner of the new Ford T 4-seater saw a future in  automobiles. Christian Bukkehave obtained the Ford dealership in 1925 for Svendborg and surrounding areas. He, his son, and grandson developed a business that, at an early stage, had international relations. The first order for developing countries came by the end of the Second World War. Bukkehave’s justification in this market grew rapidly thanks to the company’s international attitude.
